International Conference „Particle Physics in the Early Universe”

Category: Conference, Events

„Particle Physics in the Early Universe” will take place on 14–18 September 2026 in Paris and Orsay. The event will focus on the interplay between elementary particle physics and early-Universe cosmology.

The conference is jointly organized by the Scientific Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris, the Institute for Advanced Studies at the University of Warsaw, and IJCLab Orsay. The first day of the conference, 14 September, will be held in the Joliot-Curie Auditorium at IJCLab in Orsay, while the sessions from 15 to 18 September will take place at the Scientific Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris.

The scientific programme will address key topics at the interface of particle physics and early-Universe cosmology, including cosmological inflation, dark matter and dark energy, baryogenesis and leptogenesis, phase transitions in the early Universe, and gravitational waves. Particular emphasis will be placed on the cosmological implications of theories beyond the Standard Model and their potential experimental verification.

Contributions presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of “Acta Physica Polonica B”. There is no conference fee for invited participants.
