Workshop on research data management and the creation of data management plans

Researchers and PhD students affiliated with the University of Warsaw are invited to take part in a workshop on research data management and the creation of data management plans.

The classes will take place in person at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modelling (ICM UW), located at Pawińskiego 5a in Warsaw, on the following dates:

  • 19 June, 10:00–14:00
  • 25 June, 10:00–14:00

Agenda:

  1. Introduction to research data management (data lifecycle, best practices, common mistakes).
  2. The data management plan as part of an application to the National Science Centre (guidelines, key elements, common issues, tools).
  3. Working with a sample data management plan (error analysis).
  4. Creating your own data management plan.

You will need to bring your laptop to the class.

Registration:

The workshop will be held in Polish. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

The workshops will be led by experts from the Open Science Platform, which operates under ICM UW.
